BIODOLA - PORTOFERRAIO

One of the most fascinating bays of the Island of Elba are here, on your right, just a few minutes from Portoferraio, half-way from Procchio.
600 metres of fine sand next to the mediterranean macchia, very beautiful hotels and a camping close behind the beach. The sand slopes softly down letting you walking in the water without danger. The beach is joined to Scaglieri (very similar to it) by a way among the reefs.

Numerous bars and restaurants are at your disposal. A private side of the beach has deck-chairs/beach-umbrellas and pedalos for hire. It’s possible practising water-sky, diving, surf.
Because of a more influx of tourists in August it’s necessary to park the car along the side of the road (it has been purposely widened) a hundred metres from the beach. However, you can stop a few seconds near the beach and let your friends getting out of the car. A minibus from Portoferraio runs numerous times throughout the day.
