PROCCHIO - MARCIANA

Procchio, the ancient Cervinia, is today one of the most equipped sand beaches of Elba but in ancient times it was an important centre, where iron and copper were worked.
Among the numerous and interesting archaeological finds there are a furnace and a Roman ship laden with valuable amphoras, that are still in very good repair.
You can get to the beach by car only from Campo all’Aia but it’s also possible going through the small road (on foot) that leads directly to the beach. There are many services and car parks.
